PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a tentative fixation of a wall material until it is fixed by nail by mounting a tentatively fixed material to a surface of wall at an upper surface of a tongue-and-groove joint part after a tongue part and a groove part of adjacent wall materials are fitted. SOLUTION: After a substrate 3 is formed, a tongue part 11 of one of wall materials 1 is fixed thereto by nail 2. Then, a groove part 12' of another wall materials 1' is fixedly fitted to the part 11. In this case, it is preferable that the part 11 and/or the part 12' are preliminarily coated with an adhesive 4 to improve the strength of a tongue-and-groove joint part. Thereafter, the surface of wall at an upper surface of the tongue-and-groove joint part is tentatively fixed with an adhesive tape capable of being removed easily and preventing damage of the surface Accordingly, it is possible to prevent he tongue-and- groove joint part from being damaged by the self weight of the wall material 1' until the male part thereof is fixed.
