PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove small piece and glass powder produced when cutting lines are applied to plate glass. SOLUTION: Plate glass A is put on a table 11 and cutting lines are applied to the plate glass with a cutter 16 by traveling of a traveling body and the upper surface of the plate glass is sunk by feeding washing water from a water supply pipe 19 to a conduit 18 formed in whole circumference of the table and the upper surface of the plate glass is washed down while draining water in the conduit 18 from a water discharge pipe 20.
