PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate an inter-stage part of a rocket without requiring a band clamping mechanism or a band holding mechanism of complicated construction. SOLUTION: The ends of clamp bands 11 which hold clamps 12 separably engaging each other across an inter-stage part 4 of a rocket 1 are connected to form a clamp ring 11A. An extension mechanism 20 for keeping a fastened state where the clamp 12 is engaged with the inter-stage part 4 up to the state where the inter-stage part 4 of the rocket 1 is separated, and for elongating the peripheral length of the clamp ring 11A to separate the clamp 12 from the inter-stage part 4 at the stage the inter-section part 4 of the rocket 1 is separated, is provided at the clamp ring 11A.
