PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cutting breakage of a shackle on locking and make only a plug removable on replacing it to facilitate assembling and replacement by providing a retractable protection cover, a plug engaging device, etc., in a case. SOLUTION: A key is inserted in a plug 100 and turned for disengagement of a shackle 30, when unlocking the lock and the shackle 30 is protruded upward by a spring 33. In this time, protection covers 50 of both sides are separated from ratchet rack 51 and dropped in a case by their own weight. The shackle 30 is pressed against the spring 33 force to engage the shackle 30, and the protection cover 50 is pushed up to protect the shackle 30 from the cutting breakage, when locking the lock. When replacing the plug 100, the rod member 101 of the plug is disengaged from the engaging part 42 by a hand tool or the like, in the unlocked state and only the plug 100 is taken out. In this way, the plug can be rapidly assembled or replaced and the burglarproof property can be improved.
