PATTERN PIECE PRODUCTION METHOD FOR PRINTING PRINT DESIGN WITHIN BOUNDARY LINE DEFINING SHAPE OF PATTERN PIECE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a print design to a pattern piece having prescribed shape and cut from a cloth to give clothes, etc., by sewing while keeping a prescribed style relative to the boundary line defining the shape of the pattern piece. SOLUTION: A print design and a printed pattern piece having a prescribed shape are printed on a sheet cloth with a printing apparatus. The printing apparatus is provided with a controller connected to the apparatus and transmitting a controlling signal to the apparatus. A pattern piece data-base is electronically produced from the template of the pattern piece stored in the controller. The image of the repetition pattern part of the design to be printed on the pattern piece is produced and stored in the controller. A plurality of images of the repetition pattern part are arranged in the pattern piece in a manner to form a continuous pattern to generate a cutting and printing marker.
