PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a chocolate-coated confection wherein two or more kinds of different chocolates are coated on the surface of the confection, furthermore in details, a method by which an extremely visually interesting bark pattern of Betula tauschii can be formed from two or more kinds of the chocolates. SOLUTION: This method for producing a chocolate-coated confection comprises allowing an adhesion tank having a first thermally melted chocolate therein to face from the lower side to a confection base body formed on a rotatable shaft 1, rotating the confection base body to make the first chocolate 4 to adhere to the whole periphery of the confection base body, disposing a receiving tank 5 below the confection base body, rotating the confection base body, and simultaneously squeezing out a second thermally melted chocolate 6 on the rotated confection base body from the upper side in the longitudinal direction of the confection base body, thus allowing the section chocolate 6 to partially adhere to the periphery of the confection base body and to be mixed with the first chocolate 4, followed by subjecting the coated confection base body to a cutting processing and a finishing processing.
