PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an apatite layer under moderate conditions by soaking an organic material having a hydrophilic group in a solution including at least phosphate ion, calcium ion, and an organic acid to precipitate apatite on the surface of the organic material. SOLUTION: An organic acid is included in a solution including at least phosphate ion and calcium ion. A rate of forming apatite is increased to start precipitation. A polybasic acid such as citric acid having more than two carboxy groups is used as the organic acid. A substrate including an organic material having a hydrophilic group, such as at least collagen and/or cellulose, is soaked in the aqueous solution. The apatite is precipitated along collagen fibers of the surface of the organic material thereby to obtain an apatite layer under moderate conditions. |
