PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator capable of being installed in a small space by assembling a balance weight guide rail between car guide rails and providing a clearance between the balance weight guide rail and the car guide rails. SOLUTION: A car guide rail consists of rail members 12a, 12b. This pair of rail members 12a, 12b have a flange part whose cross section is formed like one-end opened square, respectively, and a guide roller 14 of a car main frame 8 comes into contact with and slides on a flange part 12c side. Moreover, a balance weight guide rail consists of a pair of rail members 13a, 13b and is assembled in between the car guide rails. Furthermore, the balance weight guide rail 13b is brought into contact with the car guide rail 12b and is attached, and the balance weight guide rail 13a is separated from the car guide rail 12a and is attached by providing a clearance therebetween. A control device for elevator 15 is arranged in the clearance between the balance weight guide rail 13a and the car guide rail 12a. |
