PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat a solution used for the purpose of executing liquefying technique inside a liquefying handpiece. SOLUTION: A surgical hand piece has at least two of lumens 30 attached to a main body. The first lumen at least is used for suction and the second one at least is also used for pouring a heated surgical liquid in order to liquefy a lens suffered from cataract. A part of the second lumen 30 is expanded so as to make a pumping chamber 42. The pumping chamber is moved by boiling a small amount of surgical liquid. When the liquid comes to the boil, it quickly expands and pushes the liquid in the pumping chamber out toward downstream from the second lumen. For the pumping chamber, a pair of electric poles 45 and 47 can be used if one of the pole can have a spot facing hole 100. |
