PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate structure allowing gate doors to be easily stored in gate posts in the case of opening a gate. SOLUTION: The internal spaces of post bodies 10 constituting gate posts 1a, 1b are formed as storage chambers 4 of gate doors 3a, 3b, and side walls 12 of the post bodies 10 are provided with longitudinal slit-like doorways 5 allowing the gate doors 3a, 3b to enter and leave from the storage chambers 4. The storage chambers 4 are provided with winding devices 6 for winding the gate doors 3a, 3b, and the gate doors 3a, 3b can be stored in the storage chambers 4 of the gate posts 1a, 1b through the doorways 5 by the winding devices 6. The winding devices 6 are composed of rod-like winding bodies 61 that can wind the gate doors 3a, 3b around the outer peripheries, and spiral springs for axially rotating the winding bodies 61 in the winding direction. The winding bodies 61 are provided in the storage chambers 4 so as to be axially rotatable.
