摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the initial stability of the face of slope and to hold water retentivity to maintain the growth of plants by spraying alginate salt as a wash-away preventing agent to the face of slope together with vegetation base material containing water and seeds. SOLUTION: Alginate salt is kneaded with vegetation base material containing water and seeds, and sprayed onto the face of slope. The alginate salt used in this case is alkaline metal salt or ammonium salt, and concentration is 0.01-5.0 wt.%, for example. The alginate salt is dissolved in water used in work execution to obtain liquid with consistency. Initial stability is therefore improved, and the liquid is thickened during rainfall, while in a dry state, a surface layer is solidified, but the inside is thickened to retain water, so that the growth of plants can be maintained without using an expensive water retaining agent. The solidifying speed of alginate salt and the solidified state of the surface can be adjusted by using an adjuvant. Initial stability is therefore improved, and seed spraying work can be executed at a low cost.
