PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool protector capable of surely preventing blades from dropping from a protector body, when the blades of scissors are stored in the protector body, by regulating the opening part of second opposite walls which are opposite to each other while adjoining to first opposite walls having notches. SOLUTION: A protector body 16 is formed in the shape of a rectangular tube and a blade slot 17 through which the blades of scissors 11 serving as a cutting tool are inserted and removed is formed in one end thereof. A guide hole 19, a locking hole 20, and a notched part 21 extend through first opposite walls 18 while communicating with one another. Second opposite walls 22 which are opposite to each other while adjoining to the first opposite walls 22 have tapered ends. A pair of engagement parts 23 are provided on exterior wall surfaces of the pair of opposite walls 22 and a locking member 29 in the form of a rectangular ring is engaged therewith. The locking member 29 held engaged with one of the engagement parts 23 is rotated to lock or unlock it from the other engagement part 23 to thereby achieve locking and unlocking.
