PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable strike to be detected even if the rod is not watched due to meal or the like, attachment of bait to other rods, and chat with fishing friends, especially because the continuation of watching of the rod tip is difficult in the case of casting. SOLUTION: This device has a fixed contact point 1 of a metal fragment, and a movable contact point obtained by attaching a weight having 2 mm radius, to the tip of a flexible metal plate 2 having 0.1 mm thickness, 1 mm width and 30 mm length, and attached to a base of an insulating material so that the distance of the fixed contact point 1 and the weight 3 of the movable contact point may be about 3 mm. Wires 6 from both contact points are connected to a battery, a buzzer, a luminescent tool (LED), an electronic part and a switch housed in a case 5, and when the input side momentarily becomes on, the input of an emitting circuit for emitting sound and light is connected for a prescribed time. When using the device, the base 4 of the insulating material is fixed to the tip of the rod by using a rubber band 7. The wires 6 are fixed to the rod at seven or eight positions on the way with tapes 8. The case 5 can be fixed to the upper face of the rod at the neighbor of a reel by the method same to the reel.
