PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flower pot-receiving container capable of preventing a plant in the flower pot from weakening, even when an own house is absent for several days. SOLUTION: This container for receiving a flower pot comprises a container body 1 in whose peripheral wall perfect ventilation openings 8 and imperfect ventilation openings 10 having cork members 9 therein are formed, a slide member 3 slidably fit onto the container body 1 and having communicating holes 25 capable of being selectively faced to the perfect ventilation openings 8 or the imperfect ventilation openings 10, and a transparent lid 2 disposed on the container body 1.
