PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth contracting operations of a superimposing freely contractile transferring screw for movement capable of transferring grains. SOLUTION: This stretchable apparatus for transferring grains of a combine harvester or the like is obtained by inserting and installing a transferring cylinder for movement comprising each superimposing freely contractile transferring screw 55b internally provided therein in the outer circumferential part of a fixed transferring cylinder comprising a transferring screw internally arranged therein, providing a screw plate 57c in the outer circumferential part of a screw outer boss 58b installed in the outer circumferential part of a screw inner boss 58a constituting the transferring screw 55b for movement and further providing the screw inner boss 58a in the nearly central part in the transferring direction of the screw outer boss 58b.
