PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict a scale increase of hardware and an exchange time loss and achieve common usage of a hard part of a PDL conversion part by eliminating a hard mechanism for adjusting a registration in a printer, a copying machine, etc. SOLUTION: A registration adjustment amount in a main scan direction is sent from a printer control part 31 of a printer or the like to a PDL conversion part 4. The PDL conversion part converts PDL print data sent from a host computer 1 to a bit map or the like and packs in a plurality of bits the data converted from the PDL to the bit map in accordance with the registration adjustment amount. On the occasion of printing to a rear face, the registration adjustment amount is sent to the PDL conversion part at every printing, so that the data through the registration adjustment for the rear face is formed at the PDL conversion part. A pack method of an image formation apparatus is sent to the PDL conversion part before printing. The PDL conversion part converts the data in accordance with the pack method. |
