<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain thread rubber which has an extremely high repulsiveness reforming effect and sufficient strength by adding a thiophenol compd. having >=1 electron-attractive substituent and other thiol compd. at a specific ratio to natural rubber or specific high cis-polyisoprene rubber. SOLUTION: A rubber compsn. is composed by incorporating (B) 0.5 to 10 pts.wt. thiol compd. selected from the group consisting of the thiophenol compd. expressed by formula I, the thionaphthol compd. expressed by formula II, the zinc salt of the thiophenol compd. expressed by formula III, the zinc salt of the thionaphthol compd. expressed by formula IV and their mixture (in the respective formulas, X denotes the electron-attractive substituent), (C) a vulcanization system compounding agent and (D) an antioxidant into (A) 100 pts.wt. natural rubber, high cis-polyisoprene rubber of >=98% cis-1,4 bond. The thread rubber for golf balls is composed by vulcanizing this rubber compsn.</p> |
