PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter high in filtering capacity in comparison with a conventional device. SOLUTION: In the filter 1, a filtering means 3 is provided in a casing 2. In the filtering means 3, a filtering material layer 5 consisting of a bag-shaped wrapping material 4 and a powdered activated carbon housed in the wrapping material 4 and a filter paper made belt 7 enclosing the wrapping material 4 and traveling in circulation are provided. When negative pressure is introduced to a negative pressure chamber 11 of the casing 2 through a negative pressure introducing pipe 12, a liq. to be filtered 16 is sucked into the casing 2 from an open 2A and recovered after being filtered with the belt 7, the filter material 8, the wrapping material 4 and the filtering material layer 5.
