PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing device for architecture which can sterilize in a dry state by irradiating an indoor cover constructional material with an electromagnetic wave to heat the material. SOLUTION: A carbon fiber 18 in an electromagnetic wave absorbing heat- generating material 29 absorbs an electromagnetic wave and then generates heat by irradiating the electromagnetic wave-absorbing heat-generating material 29 with the electromagnetic wave. And the heated carbon fiber 18 heats the electromagnetic wave absorbing heat-generating material 29 by an heat exchanging function. Then the electromagnetic wave-absorbing heat-generating material 29 can be sterilized by heating the electromagnetic wave-absorbing heat- generating material 29 to a high temperature.
