PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a washing liquid for washing window-panes of a high rise building such as a hotel and a building for offices, an ordinary residence, vehicles, and ships very satisfactorily by using an alkaline electrolytic water as effective component without leaving a residue in wiping out when the window-pane is washed by this washing liquid. SOLUTION: The alkaline electrolytic water used in a washing liquid for window-pane is the water obtained by electrolyzing source water such as underground water and service water. Among them, the water obtained by electrolyzing diluted salt water is preferable. As for the electrolytic water obtained by electrolyzing the diluted salt water, when the diluted water solution of sodium chloride (salt) is supplied into an electrolytic bath partitioned into an anode chamber and a cathode chamber by a diaphragm such as an ion exchange membrane and is electrolyzed, strongly acidic electrolytic water is generated in the anode chamber and strongly alkaline electrolytic water is generated in the cathode chamber. The washing liquid for window-pane uses this alkaline electrolytic liquid as an effective component and gives a function for washing and removing a fat and oil component, a protein component, and dust adhered on the surface of a window-pane sufficiently by this component only.
