PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pressure regulator for regulating pressure in a circuit for a hydraulic actuator for actuating a cargo handling attachment into steps, whereby problems with pressure loss are solved to assure a set pressure as intended. SOLUTION: A main relief valve 13 is provided in an oil control valve 1 for controlling pressure in a circuit for a clamp cylinder 6. Pilot pressure in one of three outside relief valves 16, 17, 18 different in set pressure is operated on the main relief valve 13 with the changing operation of a change valve 15 provided in a pilot pipe passage 19 communicating with the main relief valve 13. In this type of construction, the length of an escape passage 12 for escaping pressure oil in the pipe passage to a return side is reduced, thereby reducing the resistance of the pipe passage.
