PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a land-, water surface-, underwater movable body which utilizes pollution-free clean energy sources (solar battery and electromagnetic force), and uses a drive body which is friendly to the earth-environment. SOLUTION: Permanent magnets 4a, 4b (waterproofed not to be directly in contact with water or separated) arranged opposite to each other at a specified interval, electrodes 5a, 5b standing opposite each other on a line perpendicular to a magnetic field generated in water between the permanent magnets 4a, 4b, and a cylindrical insulating material 6 for surrounding the outer peripheries of the electrodes (being in contact with water) to prevent diffusion, are arranged in liquid 3 under water, and they are fixed on the stern of a ship. A variable resistor 7, a switch 8, and a solar battery 9 (waterproofed or separated not to be direct-contact with water) are connected in series between the electrodes 5a, 5b, and they are arranged on board of the ship. When d.c. current flows in the direction crossing the magnetic field H generated by the permanent magnets 4a, 4b at right angles, action force F is generated between the magnetic field and the current by Fleming's left-hand rule, and reaction force in the opposite direction to the action force F acts as propulsion power to advance the ship on the water.
