PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cushioning and protective performance by cutting a plate-like member such as a corrugated fiberboard, bending the plate-like member to form a bottom part and forward and rearward wall parts, and inserting right and left wall parts into notches provided in the bottom part and the forward and rearward wall parts so as to be wrapped up from the outside. SOLUTION: Forward and rearward wall parts 2, 3 are folded and erected in the vertical direction, and right and left wall part pieces 4, 5 are folded at folding lines 4a-4d, and 5a-5d. A side opposite to a bottom part 1 of the wall part pieces 4, 5 is inserted in notches 15, 16, and pressed until notches 13a, 13b, 14a, 14b are engaged with the forward and rearward wall parts 2, 3. When a product is stored therein, a space is ensured between a bottom surface and each side surface of the product and the bottom surface and each side surface of a carton by a cushion, and no pressure is directly applied to the product from the outside, and the impact is mitigated by the cushion in a range of the space even against a large acceleration due to dropping, and the product is protected.
