PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device which is capable of smoothly opening/closing a truck cover by a small force, and miniaturizing the drive device. SOLUTION: A whole drive device is provided with a cylinder 41 for a drive member, a connection member to connect the cylinder 41 to a truck cover, and a base 43 on which these members are mounted. The connection member 42 is provided with an approximately L-shaped operation piece 42a, and a connection piece 42b pivotably supported by the operation piece 42a. The base 43 is fixed to a cargo bed of a truck body, the connection piece 42b is pivotably supported by a connecting rod 31a provided on a large wing, and the operation piece 42a, the connection piece 42b and the connecting rod 31a form a four-node rotation chain comprising a drive shaft 31 to drive the large wing, a pivotable support part of the operation piece 42a and the base 43, a pivotable support part of the operation piece 42a and the connection piece 42b, and a pivotable support part of the operation piece 42a and the connecting rod 31a, the four-node rotation chains is operated as the cylinder 41 is operated, and the large wing is opened/closed by rotating the drive shaft 31 following the movement of the four-node rotation chain.
