A roll of foil (B) is on top of the bank (C). A pontoon (E) has extending arms (G) with rollers (F1,F2). A cable (D) is winched onto the drum (A) to pull foil to cover the slope and bed of the waterway. If the waterway is narrow, a crane could be used instead of the pontoon.
