FIELD: magnetic recording equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has at least two oscillation circuits, each of which has direct voltage source, solenoid and capacitor, which is connected in alternating order to source and solenoid through two-position switch. Solenoids of adjacent circuits are mounted for orientation of intensity vectors of generated fields, which are positioned with respect to each other by angle alpha, which is not equal to 180 and 360 degrees. Magnetic carrier is demagnetized by series of unidirectional magnetic pulse. Moments for connection of capacitor to solenoid in main and additional circuits are shifted with respect to each other. EFFECT: decreased weight and size, increased reliability of clearing for given clearing power. 2 cl, 2 dwg
