METHOD OF BRIQUETTING GLASS CHARGE

FIELD: glass manufacture; methods of preparation of glass charge. SUBSTANCE: method of granulation of glass charge includes addition of binder in the course of mixing the charge. Used as binder is aqueous solution 3- to 10- % commercial lignosulfonate treated by loess rubbed through sieve 0.14 to 0.16; procedure is continued for 40 to 60 minutes. Lignosulfonate to loess mass ratio is 1:5 - 1:10. EFFECT: increased density and heat conductivity of charge.
