FIELD: metallurgy; methods of reworking nickel-cobalt scrap. SUBSTANCE: electrolytic refining of nickel anodes is performed simultaneously with processing nickel-cobalt scrap. Nickel-cobalt scrap is dissolved and nickel contained in it used for making good the deficit of nickel arising during electrolytic refining of anodes. Leaching of secondary materials is effected with solutions containing ferric iron or copper chloride. Ready solution containing mainly ferrous iron is directed for cleaning from iron which is combined with repulping operation of primary ferrous sludge.
