A container for a compact disc is provided. The container has a lower cover which receives a tray. The tray has a mechanism for maintaining the compact disc in place. The container also has an upper cover slidably mounted to the lower cover in order to slide between a closed position where the compact disc is covered, and an open position where the compact disc is uncovered. Advantageously, the container further comprises a stopper for preventing the upper cover from sliding off the lower cover. A double container is also provided. The double container corresponds to two identical containers being a mirror image about a central plane where one container is upside down and the lower covers of each container face each other and are merged together. |
