SUBSTANCE: method involves reception of call signal by signal processor, selection of virtual connection for call, generation of new signal specification, which provides identification, selection and transmission of new signal specification to ATM multiplexer, which provides Internet exchange, which provides access connection for call. Multiplexer converts user data from access connection into ATM data elements for their transmission through virtual connection according to new signal specification.
