Reinforced plastic filter support

An open mesh structure serves as a support for a filter cloth. The support comprises three layers of reinforced resin fibres preferably glass fibre with plastic resin. The first and second layers cross and the third layer is laid in a direction to cross the second layer fibres where they touch the first layer fibres. Preferably the fibres of the first and third layers are parallel.
