The invention relates to a shield for shielding against terrestrial radiation and radiation emanating from ground-water arteries. The mat consists of a layer of rolled bark cork, a layer of aluminium foil having an orange skin structure, a layer of polystyrene foam, a further layer of transparent, varnished aluminium foil, a further layer of polystyrene foam and, finally, a layer of aluminium foil whose upper side is coated. The final layer is covered with a 4-mm thick layer of rolled bark cork. |
