PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform drying all the year at a low cost by bringing down natural snow or lake ice or storing floating ice thereby ensuring a cold heat source. SOLUTION: A cold heat source for generating cold air by switching the heating method from thermal drying to cold temperature drying is ensured by bringing down natural snow or lake ice or storing floating ice on a limited seashore. Air supply to a marine product drying chamber 1 is coupled through a drying fan 4 and a mixing/conditioning air path 17 passing drying/conditioning air with a cold heat source chamber 2. Air discharge is coupled through an exhaust air path 18 and an external exhaust regulator 8 with an outer air intake regulator 7. At the time of cold temperature operation in the vicinity of normal ice temperature, the air from the drying chamber 1 is passed through the exhaust air path 18 and a circulation air path 19 to the cold heat source chamber 2 where heat exchange to cold and dehumidification are performed and air having relative humidity in the ice temperature region is supplied from the mixing/conditioning air path 17 to the drying chamber by means of the drying fan 4.
