PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning unit for vehicle that is designed to allow air to be distributed uniformly to the extent permissible in practical use before passing though an evaporator, while still maintaining a simple construction. SOLUTION: This vehicle air conditioning unit 10 has a wind direction guide plate 20 that serves to change the flow of air flowing through a communicating portion 18 to be directed toward an air inflow surface 13a of an evaporator 13. The wind direction guide plate 20 is provided on a wall surface 19 of a cooler unit 14 that is opposite to the air inflow surface 13a of the evaporator 13. The guide plate 20 is a rectangular flat plate and is integrally resin molded with a unit case 17 for the cooler unit 14 during resin molding the unit case 17.
