<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the separation type portable telephone set which eliminates the need to hold its portable telephone body in a hand which is relatively large in volume and weight by having it fitted to clothing or the body without any feeling of physical disorder. SOLUTION: Voice data are transmitted and received through radio, infrared rays, etc., by using a spatial transmission device and a modem between the portable telephone body, which is equipped with an antenna 3 for transmission to and reception from a base station, a high-output amplifier, and a receiving element, and a separate voice input/output device which is equipped with a microphone 6 and a speaker 2 separated from the portable telephone body. The microphone and the speaker are smaller and lighter than the portable telephone body.</p> |
