摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the inclusion of upper layer components into separated components and to improve the purity of the separated components by arranging a flow passage forming member forming flow passages for the separated components toward a draw port direction in the bottom of a separation tank provided with the draw port in the lower part of its side wall and forming plural holes at the side wall parts of the flow passage forming member. SOLUTION: The liquid separator 1 which separates liquid to multiple layers by utilizing the sp. gr. difference thereof is provided with the draw port 3 at the lower flank of the separation tank 2 for housing and separating two kinds of mixtures. At this time, the base surface of the separation tank 2 is formed with the flow passages 8 which are rectangular in their cross-sections and extend in an approximately horizontal direction are formed between the base surface of the separation tank 2 and the flow passage forming member 5. The flow passage forming member 5 is formed to a U-shaped cross section and is constituted to extend in one direction. The member is installed on the base surface of the separation tank 2 by directing its aperture downward. The plural holes 6 are formed at the side walls of the flow passage forming member 5. The bores of the holes 6 are formed to a circular shape in the contour shape of the cross-sections. As a result, the generation of the convection and vortexes of the liquid mixture in the separation tank 2 is prevented and the draw of the separated components at a high purity is made possible.
