摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic wave probe for easily setting probe machine kind information and making the change of the probe machine kind information difficult for a third party other than manufacturing/sales companies. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic wave probe is connected to an ultrasonic diagnostic device body capable of connecting the ultrasonic wave probes of plural machine kinds and switching the various kinds of setting information corresponding to machine kind information supplied from the connected ultrasonic wave probe. The ultrasonic wave probe is provided with a sensor part 70 for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves, a connector part 50 to be connected to the ultrasonic diagnostic device body and a cable part 60 for connecting the sensor part and the connector part, and a probe machine kind information setting means 7 for setting the machine kind information is provided in the sensor part of the ultrasonic wave probe. The third party other than the manufacturing/sales companies can not easily change the probe machine kind information.
