PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten the working of impact load applied to an inner ring and an outer ring on the interior of a bearing so as to prevent lowering of life of a bearing by providing at least either the outer ring outer peripheral surface or an inner ring inner peripheral surface with a buffer holding mechanism for holding a buffer member in a space up to a counterpart member to which the outer ring or the inner ring is fitted. SOLUTION: The outer peripheral surface 13b of an outer ring 13 of a rolling bearing 11 is provided with an oil film holding mechanism 16 for forming an oil film layer 15 as a buffer member in a space up to a bearing holding surface 5a of a housing 5 as a counterpart member for fitting of the outer ring 13. When impact or vibration is applied to the inner ring 1 or the outer ring 13 of the rolling bearing 11, the oil film layer 15 formed by the oil film holding mechanism 16 causes a squeeze phenomenon to permit very small displacement of the rolling bearing 11 and simultaneously damp the vibration load, thereby functioning as a buffer damper for absorbing and softening impact. Further, the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring 12 may be provided with the oil film holding mechanism 16 in a space up to the outer peripheral surface of the shaft member 6 as a counterpart member for fitting to the inner ring 2. |
