<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optically coupled element, on which the insulating property between a light-emitting element and a photodetector are secured and the transfer efficiency between the light-emitting element and the photodetector is improved. SOLUTION: When an electric signal is given to a light-emitting element 6 from a lead frame 3 through a wire 7, the electric signal is converted into an optical signal by the light-emitting element 6. This optical signal is transferred to and received by the photodetector 8 through a light-transmitting resin 10. The optical signal is converted into an electric signal by the photodetector 8, and the electric signal is sent to a lead frame 5 through a wire 9. The width of the light-transmitting resin 10 is narrowed in the vicinity of the light-emitting element 6 and the photodetector 8, the width is widened in the vicinity of the lead-out part of lead frames 2 to 5, and by directing the interface of light- transmitting resin 2 and light reflecring/shielding resin 11 in the direction of the photodetector 8, the insulating property and the transfer efficiency between the light-emitting element 6 and the photodetector 8 can be secured.</p> |
