<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the consistency of page print throughput of a printer by providing a step where the spotting showing that the 1st race conditional threshold is adaptive to a band is detected out of the image data on a single page, a step where a pre-rasterized band is formed, etc. SOLUTION: A band (page strip) obtained from the image data on a single pace is analyzed (105), and the necessity of pre-rasterizing is decided for a punt (printer overrun) circuit (110). If the pre-rasterizing is necessary (i.e., the 1st conditional threshold is adaptive), a pre-rasterizing buffer and a compression buffer are assigned (115). Then the band is pre-rasterized and the experiential video image processing time (TR) is measured (120). If the TR is longer than the race time (125), the band is compressed (130) and the original display list is released from a memory (135).</p> |
