<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales promotion system capable of promoting the entry of a certain store to a commodity field for a customer layer having attributes different from that of a conventional customer layer and effectively contributing to the increment of sales of the store. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a card-like recording medium 2 distributed to each customer and recording the attribute information of the customer, a card reader/writer 4 into which the medium 2 is inserted, a storage means 5 for storing the identification(ID) information of commodities for each of plural commodity groups set up in accordance with the attribute information, an input means 6 for inputting the ID information, and a control means 7 connected to the card reader/writer 4, the storage means 5 and the input means 6 and capable of recording service information corresponding to the purchase amount of a commodity having inputted ID information in the medium 2 when attribute information corresponding to a commodity group including the ID information inputted by the input means 6 does not coincide with the attribute information recorded in the medium 2.</p> |
