PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly shift a transmission action to a mode after a switch when a transmission mode switching operation to the other transmission mode is performed during a transmission action in an automatic/manual transmission mode by starting a transmission action based on the other transmission mode after the transmission action performed before the switching action is finished. SOLUTION: When a shift lever 15 is moved to a M-range side (or a D-range side), it is determined whether a transmission action is carried out on the basis of an automatic transmission mode (or a manual mode) or not as the previous transmission mode is an automatic transmission mode (or a manual mode). If the action is carried out in the automatic transmission mode, the automatic transmission mode is maintained, and a gear change shock accompanying a transmission command overlapping the transmission action based on the automatic transmission mode can be prevented even if the shift lever 15 is moved to a (+) position or a (-) position. When the manual transmission mode is immediately switched to the automatic transmission mode, a transmission action may be started, however, the manual transmission mode is maintained if the switching action is carried out during a gear change action. |
