PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate more various indication signals by adding pull-up and press-down operations to an inclinable operating stick. SOLUTION: A first shaft 21 properly operates a limit switch group 9 constituting a falling position detector in interlocking thereto by the inclining operation of a grip ball 3 and outputs a 4-bit instruction signal showing an inclining direction such as longitudinal, lateral, or oblique direction from a connector pin line 6d. When the grip ball 3 is pushed down or pulled up, the first shaft 21 is not vertically moved, and a second shaft 22 is slid within the first shaft 21 and vertically moved. One of two limit switches 12 and 13 of a sliding direction detector is operated to output a binary signal showing the vertical direction from a terminal 12b or 13b. Accordingly, the push-down or pull-up vertical operation of the operating stick can be optionally combined with the longitudinal, lateral and oblique inclining directions present in the past, and more various instruction signals can be generated and outputted.
