PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new burglary preventing device having a burglary preventing mode to be comparatively simply set/reset and a burglary preventing mode of which reset is comparatively difficult as to a burglary preventing device constituted of fitting burglary preventing sensors to doors, windows, etc., of a building and capable of detecting the operation of these sensors and generating an alarm. SOLUTION: The burglary preventing device is provided with 1st burglary preventing mode input means 7, 8 for setting or resetting the 1st burglary preventing mode, a 2nd burglary preventing mode input means 9 for setting the 2nd burglary preventing mode, an identification(ID) number input means 10 for inputting an ID number, and a control means 2 for generating an alarm to the external at the time of detecting the operation of a burglary preventing sensor 3 when the 1st or 2nd burglary preventing mode is set or resetting the 2nd burglary preventing mode at the time of inputting a prescribed ID number from the input means 10.
