PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make processing efficient by dispersing OCR software to plural computers to operate it. SOLUTION: Respective objects 41 to 43, 51 to 56, 61, 62 on a display layer, a physical layer and a data layer for realizing the functions of an OCR are dispersed to computers 10a to 10c mutually connected through a network 30. An 'application management' object 40, a 'function management' object 50 and a 'database management' object 60 for integrally managing these objects 41 to 43, 51 to 56, 61, 62 in each layer are arranged on optional computers out of the computers 10a to 10c and various processing for the OCR is dispersely executed by mutual connection among respective management objects.
