PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out only a specified rack on the way without changing a program in a host computer, in a system which carries racks holding test tubes, etc. SOLUTION: When a metallic member 110 is set to a rack 100, a sensor 24 installed on a first branching station 10 recognizes the metallic member 110, and the rack 100 is sent to an accumulation area 16. As for racks 102 and 104 not provided with the metallic member 110, branching control is carried out as usual. Because the first branching station 10 itself has a discrimination function of the racks and a branching judgment function, there is no need to control a program of a host computer.
