PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a decorative panel by a method wherein a substrate is decorated through the transferring of a surface having deep recesses and projections without being controlled by the physical limit of a transfer sheet itself, such as recesses and projections following property, vacuum molding property or the like, even for a porous substrate such as an inorganic substrate, a wooden substrate or the like. SOLUTION: A transfer layer is transferred to a recessed and projected substrate by a method wherein solid particles P are collided against the supporting body sheet side 1 of a transfer sheet S under a condition that the transfer sheet S, constituted of the supporting body sheet 1 and the transfer layer 2, is opposed to the upper recessed and projected surface of a recessed and projected substrate B having the recessed and projected surface so that the side of the transfer layer is opposed to the side of the recessed and projected surface and a space is provided between the transfer layer and the recessed and projected surface to generate an interval G while a shock upon the collision is utilized to separate the transfer layer from the supporting body sheet 1 and drop the same onto the recessed and projected surface.
