TILE AND ITS PRODUCTION

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a tough lightweight tile having high designability and good quality in an easy and stable manner. SOLUTION: The tile comprises pottery, has 1.3-2.0 g/cm2 apparent density and has minute cavities of <=500μm in the interior. The tile is produced by mixing inorg. materials with a fibrous powder, press-molding the mixture and burning the fibrous powder by firing.
