PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC/DC converter which can supply controllable and continuous power to a load by using an integral magnetic output transformer. SOLUTION: First and second drive circuits 60 and 62 start charging the effective parasitic capacitances between the gates and the sources of related switching devices 12 and 14, so as not to have the gate-source voltages of the switching devices 12 and 14 reach threshold voltages until a current flowing through an inductance 42 and the primary winding 36 of an output transformer discharges the effective output capacitances C1 and C2 of the switching devices 12 and 14. After that, the first and second drive circuits 60 and 62 make the related switching devices 12 and 14 operate, so as to start the electrical continuities of the diodes D1 and D2 of the switching devices 12 and 14.
