PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain stable sealing performance over a long period of time by providing a main body part and a deflecting part for deflecting the main body part by a single material on a seal part to be mounted on a counterpart member having a large difference in coefficient of thermal expansion. SOLUTION: A grease seal 1 comprises an annular main body part 1a and a deflecting part 1b for deforming the main body part 1a to be wavy in the circumferential direction which are formed by a single material. The outer peripheral end part of the grease seal 1 functions as a seal part 1c installed in a fitting groove 103 of a bearing 102. The outline dimension D1 of the grease seal and the inside diameter size D2 of the groove bottom part 103c of the fitting groove 103a are set to be D1>D2. The defleting part 1b in the state that the grease seal 1 is installed in the fitting groove 103a is in the shrinked state in the circumferential direction (largely shrinked) more than the state before installation according to D1>D2. The fitting margin with the fitting groove 103a in the seal part 1c is obtained by the restoring force of deflecting deformation of the deflecting part 1b.
